The famous 161 km long Fish River Canyon is less than a two hour drive from the hotel. Close to the canyon is the Ai-Ais resort which has hot springs at an average temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. The rersort is open from mid March to end of October.

Closer to the hotel is the giant playground, which is also near the Kokerboom or Quivertree forest where there is a rare cluster of the unique aloe dichotoma. Bach at the hotel, enjoy a drink in the cool luxury of the ladies' bar FOLLOWed by a delicious meal at the adjacent restaurant.
