Gelbingen Lodge

is situated in a mountainous valley in the middle of a Mopane tree savannah. While enjoying our hospitality you can easily explore the Etosha National Park, Damaraland and Kaokoland.

Gelbingen Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in eight double or twin rooms. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with showers.
The restaurant serves excellent homemade dishes. Relax at the sparkling pool or enjoy a drink at the bar.
The Himba
Five years ago part of a Himba clan settled on the Farm Gelbingen. Although it was a difficult beginning since two worlds clashed with each other, we somehow found a way to live together in complete harmony, the Himbas in their traditional ("stone aged") way, and us in our European manner. They have settled and continue their lives as they know.
