OTJIBAMBA LODGE Ojibamba Lodge has became one of the more popular stopovers for visitors on their way to the north of Namibia. It is ideally situated along the main road running from Windhoek to Etosha and just south of the town of Otjiwarongo. The lodge nestles within an own 220ha game ranch where a selection of game including giraffe, eland, oryx, gnu, ostrich, springbok, impala, blesbok and waterbuck can be viewed. The waterholes are close to the main building and a number of short walking trails winding through the park allow the visitor to also enjoy the abundant bird life. Ample facilities centre around a swimming pool for those wishing to relax and unwind. Otjibamba has been developed with great care and affinity by its owners, who also manage the lodge. |  |
Otjibamba is tastefully constructed in an afro-colonial style and hosts a main building with a cosy lounge , ladies bar, an a la carte restaurant and 20 rooms as seperate chalets. The rooms are spacious with each having twin double beds, an en suite bathroom and a veranda overlooking the pastoral landscape. The restaurant is known for its superb cuisine and excellent menu, offering a wide selection of local specialities for almost every taste. A complete bar service is available and Otjibamba's wine list has been recognised for a balanced and choice selection of South African wines.
