Otjitotongwe Lodge,
the Oshiherero word for cheetah, is home to "Save the Cheetah Project" and invites you for a visit to see the project in action. |

All five 2-bed bungalows have en suite facilities with hot & cold water - a perfect home in Africa's wilderness. Your hosts will do there outmost to make your stay a memorable one.
|
On a protected area of approximately 40 hectar there are presently roaming some 13 wild cheetahs. If you have not seen any cheetahs on your trip yet, this is the place to come to. |

But there are other attractions to make Otjitotongwe your home for a few days - indigenous trees such as the Python Vines, fokea multiflora, and unusual rock formations like a fossils algae stromatolites , grown in a warm, shallow sea that covered northern Namibia some 600-700 million years ago. Your host will take you on guided game drives and nature walks where you will also enjoy the multitude of bird species. |
