Our Reservation Policy for Hotels and Rent-A-Driver:
By making reservations through our reservation sytem you enter into a service agreement as follows:
When making a reservation we will try and confirm it soonest. Once we send the confirmation slip by e-mail, we require your credit card details within 5 days from the date of the confirmation slips. This will secure your reservation. However, should we have your credit card details on records already for other reservations, then this confirmation is final. 60 days prior to arrival we will debit your credit card for the amount of your accommodations as per confirmation slips plus a non-refundable 6% Reservation Fee. Residents of SADC countries are exempt from the Reservation Fee. We will then send you within 5 days the actual hotel vouchers to be presented to the hotels for payment. Your payment is immediately forwarded to the respective hotel or Rent-A-Driver. In case of Rent-A-Driver, after confirmation we will send you the rental agreement which you must sign and fax back to us. We will send you a voucher as we do for the hotel reservations.

Should you make a reservation which falls within the 60 day period, your credit card will be debited on the same day we receive your credit card details. Your payment is immediately forwarded to the respective hotel or Rent-A-Driver. Cancellation fees apply immediately.

Direct deposits into our bank account can also be made. A copy of the deposit slip must be faxed to us before we will issue the hotel vouchers. You must indicate that option when making reservations. Our banking details will be communicated to you by e-mail should you decide to make use of this form of payment.

From the date of reservation made until 61 days before arrival you may change your reservations or even cancel them all together without any charges. EXCEPTION: at resorts operated by NWR (see below).

The submission of your credit card details to Reservations Africa expressly authorizes Reservations Africa to debit your credit card for all services rendered as outlined above. This includes also additional debits in case of additional room charges, room rate changes, room rate errors and/or legitimate additional charges submitted by hotels as well as from Rent-A-Driver. The contract for accommodation is between the credit card holder and the hotel or between the the cardholder and Rent-A-Driver respectively. Under the "Namibia Accommodation Act" the guest/cardholder is fully liable to the hotel for all servcies rendered.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
From the date of reservation made until 61 days before arrival you may change your reservations or even cancel them all together without any charges.
EXCEPTION: For reservations at resorts operated by Namibia Wildlife Resorts Ltd. a 10% deposit is in any case forfeited.
Once payment has been processed the following cancellation periods & fees apply:
90-56 days before arrival at resorts operated by Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) 10% deposit forfeited
55 or less days before arrival at resort operated by Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) 100% of the room rate.
At all other accommodation establishments:
60-46 days before arrival 15% of the room rates
45-31 days before arrival 25% of the room rates
30-16 days before arrival 50% of the room rates
less than 16 days before arrival 100% of the room rates
These cancellation fees and periods also apply to reservations made for Rent-A-Driver
We recommend that you take out a Trip Cancellation Insurance from your own household insurer or through your travel agent at home. Unfortunately this type of insurance must be purchased in the country of origin.
